The Tilting Check valve is among other type of check valves, control the flow by the disc and will be used for NON-SLAM Type. The position of Disc is inside center of Tilting Check valves are sensitive operating though flow that is special valve.
The shape of seat on disc looks like flying wing as below sketch which makes its disk raised.
Tilting Check valves are manufactured with carbon steel and corrosion resistant alloy. The sizes of the valves are from 2 inch to 24 inch on average while the pressure is up to over 4,500 PSI.
